September marks the beginning of our Hispanic Heritage Month celebration, which will include a hands-on art class on retablo making, a night of Latin American music and dance, and a fascinating presentation on the experiences of immigrants in America (page 5). October will be a great time to get involved in some of our fun intergenerational programs for Halloween, or enjoy games, crafts and spooky stories with 55+ friends (page 6). In November, you%u2019re invited to come enjoy a festive Thanksgiving meal at Arlington Mill or Aurora Hills (page 5), or learn to make some classic holiday recipes with Virginia Cooperative Extension (page 12). There will be something for everyone at 55+ Centers this fall %u2013 I hope to see you there!
