This group plays at 26+ different Northern Virginia courses from April through October and hosts fun group tournaments and outings. The group plays each Tuesday and Thursday, with the latter generally less busy. Green fees (including cart rentals) are lower than if you went by yourself and vary depending on the course. At its first meeting of 2026, the NVSO committee announced preliminary dates for the 2026 events: Sat., Sept. 19 through Sat., Oct. 10. Arlington will host opening day at the Thomas Jefferson Community Center. Coleman encourages participants and non-participants to check the website at nvso.us for detailed information throughout the year and consider volunteering at one or more of the events.
